The Union of Polish Traders and Artisans (UCAP) and KAZ.WS Creations, with the kind collaboration of the Municipality of Pont-à-Vendin, invite you to a day dedicated to the history of Polish immigration and resistance in Hauts-de-France.

Discover the documentary « For Your Freedom and Ours », tracing the commitment of two Polish resistance movements during the Second World War: the POWN and the Polish sections of the FTP-MOI. Despite their ideological differences, these men and women fought a common enemy, driven by the motto: « For Your Freedom and Ours ».

This day will also be an opportunity to visit a exhibition dedicated to Polish immigration and the history of Polish miners, whose legacy still profoundly marks our territory.

This documentary was produced by the associations Les Créations de KAZ.WS and APIA as part of the commemorations of the centenary of the Franco-Polish convention, with the support of the Pas-de-Calais Department and the call for projects « Arras for Peace ».
